You've heard the story. Now come see for yourself.
We are excited to announce Bump in the Night's first production! The classic tragedy of betrayal, grief, murder, and revenge, Euripides' Medea.
Medea, a powerful sorceress and wife of the mythic hero Jason, finds her life beginning to crumble when her husband abandons her to marry the young princess of Corinth. When King Creon banishes her and her children from the kingdom she is forced to exact revenge on the men who have tried to destroy her.
Taking inspiration from the original Euripides text as well as Seneca's Medea and the Argonatuica, this adaptation turns up the volume on the magic, blood, and rage of theatre's first horror icon.
