PLAY SUBMISSIONS
Interested in submitting a play to Bump in the Night? Click the button below to access the submission form.
Whether you are a playwright submitting your own work, a director with a play in mind, or anyone else with an idea, this is the form you need to submit.
All ideas will be reviewed by our Artistic Advisory Board at our quarterly meetings. We will try to respond to every submission but due to the number of submissions that may not be possible. We appreciate your patience.
Please submit any project you like, but here are a couple things we are specifically looking for:
- Short plays (10-30 mins) that feature gore/blood
- Small cast shows (full length) that can be performed in a small studio space (Think small black box/rehearsal space with seating for 8-10 people, limited technical elements.)
- Note: while we appreciate plays with comedic elements to it, we are not interested in full comedies, parodies, farces, etc.

Campfire Night Play Reading Submissions: (Short plays)
- If you submit a short play, your submission will be added to the list for a possible Campfire Night reading. Each quarter we select 2-3 plays for the event. Submitted plays will be kept in consideration for future Campfire Night events or other events. If you want to revoke your play from consideration, please email us at [email protected], otherwise consider it under review.
