Jump Scares, Vol. 1 is a night of short horror plays that explore the wide variety of genre's within the horror space. From psychological, to absurd, to demonic, these plays will thrill and kill! Six playwrights, six directors, and a company of actors come together to create this evening of terrifying theatre.

Hiking through the North Carolina woods, Caleb has hurt his foot and Matt, his older brother, is determined to get him to safety. When a man happens upon the boys - not so randomly- Matt's mission gets harder to achieve.
Lollipop, Lollipop by Hannah Lee Defrates (she/her)

On the run from mysterious Men-in-Yellow, Polly, Lucy, and Sandy stop at a diner to figure out the rest of their escape plan. The only problem? Sandy’s a lollipop.
Hell by KG Montes (they/them)
Directed by Nicholas Alfano III (they/them)
Inspired by the Salem Witch Trials, Prudence is accused by her Puritan community of being in league with the devil. The truth is much more upsetting.
Olly Olly Oxen Free by Jacquelyn Priskorn (she/her)

Jessy and Marty find themselves in a stone circle far from home. Someone else is looking for them. Is it safe in the circle? Can they call time out if it isn't? What happens if they get tagged?

Foster wakes up buried alive with nothing but a voice recorder and a flashlight with near-dead batteries, being forced to analyze their own life to figure out why they were chosen to suffer this fate.
